Jack Box, the infamous brand mascot and fictional CEO, was in need of a virtual makeover

Jack Box, the infamous brand mascot and fictional CEO, needed a virtual makeover in order to join his customers in the social channels they currently live. He would need to be accessible by everyone, always willing to respond to a tweet, talk tacos or share a timely joke, even at his own expense. And it’s worked. Followers and engagement went up across our Jack social channels and expanded as we built a Tik Tok presence from the dance floor up, opened a Discord server to celebrate 2021 Comic-Con, and partnered with its #1 ranked esports team to pull off a Twitch takeover. We created pop-up sampling events, drive-through experiences, brought curly fries to all (including our competitors) supported our fans on the day they needed us most - the Monday after SuperBowl LV. We worked tirelessly to help Jack respond at the speed of culture – and when we did, the brand has won.

Below this timeline is a couple of micro case studies with details & results-

Kick Super Sick Monday where the sun don’t shine.

This year’s Super Bowl – the biggest party of the year was to be virtual, loaded with video calls, group chats, sticky social threads, and the delivery alcohol no one could watch you drink. But what about the morning after the Super Bowl on a year frowned upon to call in sick? How do you get through that brutal Monday? We worked with Jack and the Box to draw up a special teams trick play, full of INSPIRATION, MOTIVATION & TINY TACOVATION.
